We’re so confident in the health of our kittens that we offer an ironclad Five Year Health Guarantee, as opposed to the traditional one year that other catteries employ.

We raise our kittens with the intention of them living a long, happy, healthy life with their fur-ever family, but sometimes that just doesn’t happen. Animals are prone to sickness and disease just like people are. The least we can do is rule out the most common genetic diseases that Maine Coons are known to suffer from.
If a kitten you purchase from us dies from one of the three genetic diseases Maine Coons are predisposed to, you will get a new kitten from us, free of charge.

The three most prominent inherited genetic diseases are Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM), Pyruvate Kinase Deficiency (PKDef), and Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA). All three of these are included in our health guarantee.

We are open to discussing honoring the guarantee for diseases not specifically included, particularly if the disease is genetic. We want to know if a genetic disease we missed is present in our lines, so we may adjust to prevent it in the future.
We also understand that purchasing a Maine Coon is an amazing opportunity, and you buy a kitten expecting a companion for many years, and that’s what we aim to provide for you! These cats become a member of the family, with their own attitude, likes and dislikes, and preferences. The loss of a family member is irreplaceable, but depending on the situation, we will always strive to come to a solution that leaves everyone happy. We love keeping a close relationship with those who receive our kittens, and we would never want to do anything to jeopardize that. If something unexpected happens to your kitten, never hesitate to reach out, and we’ll do all we can to make things right!

You must be approved from our Waitlist Application to Reserve a Coonicles Kitten! Our kittens are raised with endless dedication to their health, socialization, and temperaments, and learning more about your lifestyle helps us tailor their development to ease the transition into your home!
We enjoy receiving updates and pictures of our kittens as they grow. Watching them mature from a cute kitten to a majestic feline with a beautiful coat is the most rewarding part of being a breeder!
What Is the Process for Getting a Kitten?
Fill out a Waitlist Form, and you’ll be given the password to the store where you may reserve your chosen kitten when they become available. You pay the $250 deposit to reserve your kitten, and we’ll reach out to you with the next steps for the delivery of your kitten!
How Does Payment Work?
If you’re picking up the kitten yourself, you’ll pay in cash when you pick up the kitten. If you’re using our transportation service, you’ll pay online when we set a date for delivery; either through Venmo or Paypal.
Visitation
We don’t allow visitors, as we are an in-home cattery, but we would be happy to provide facetime videos of your cat or kitten, and would be happy to meet you at the agreed upon meeting space so you can meet you cat or kitten before purchasing it, if you wish.
Do We Offer Breeding Rights?
We will offer breeding rights on our cats or kittens to established catteries at our discretion, along with any advice and experience we can offer you.
How Does the Kitten Get From Coonicles to Me?
If you do not plan to drive, Coonicles Cattery will send you options on prices and dates from one of many qualified pet transportation services to have your kitten delivered by car from Coonicles Cattery in NY directly to your doorstep. The pet transportation services offer a calm, quiet drive in a heated or air conditioned vehicle, with one or two drivers present with the animals at all times.
Coonicles Cattery is located in the small town of Sparrow Bush, NY, so the pickup will be around that town.
