Welcome to Coonicles Cattery, where we raise family friendly European Maine Coon kittens with luxurious, low-maintenance coats, and loving, playful personalities! Check out the kittens we have available down below!

Our kittens are registered with TICA, and you have the option to request a 3 or a 5 generation pedigree for your kitten to see the colors and titles of their ancestors!

Our kittens are not sent home spayed or neutered; Maine Coons grow very slowly (taking 3-5 years to reach their full size), and thus its believed that waiting until they’re around six months is best in order to avoid disrupting their hormones as they grow.

Sunny Days in the Catio

Bonnie and Clyde getting the non-negotiable (and very much enjoyed) proximity-triggered grooming session. Freya simply can’t help herself when she sees a kitten!

Clyde trying to make his way down the mesh bridge, and getting attacked on both sides by his sister and his cousin. Poor boy can’t catch a break!

Exploring the Catio

The cats and kittens love taking the opportunity to sunbathe on beautiful days like this, and I figured it was the perfect opportunity to catch some new photos and videos!

Bruce Wayne and Mary Jane exploring the catio while they bask in the sunlight. What a beautiful day! A great opportunity to see the cool Smoke pattern in Bruce Wayne’s fur; how its black close to his skin, but lightens to a smoky silver near the tips of his fur, with an extra reddish-brown tinge known as “rusting.”

Lois Lane trying to sneak a snack from her mother, who just wanted to take a nap.

Bonnie’s fur is smoky silver close to her skin, and darkens into a dappled sunlit orange and dark gray at the ends.

Bonnie is a Polydactyl Maine Coon, which means she has extra toes on each paw! Bonnie has six toes on each paw.

Red Maine Coon Kitten

Apart from the Black Smoke, the Red Maine Coon, affectionately called the Orange Maine Coon, is one of the most sought after colors, due to its vibrance and wild, lion-like appearance once it’s face and mane start to fill out.

Clyde was enjoying the sunlight for his little photo shoot in the sunlight, but it started getting a little windy, so we had to wrap it up!

How Do I Get a Kitten?

Socializing the Kittens

We believe kittens should have a firm foundation of varied socializations to familiarize them with children, dogs, new people, and other cats, so better help them adapt in their new homes where other children or pets may be present. A kitten who gets along with everyone and everything is a treasure, and we aim to encourage that as much as possible.

Josephine, our almost-one year old, loves giving kisses to the kittens. And to our dog. And to anyone within kissing distance! Most of her kisses are open-mouthed, and thus very slobbery, but fortunately I don’t believe this one was!

Story time with the dad! Sir Bruce, our mini Schnauzer, decided to join.

Ensuring the kittens are handled consistently by an overly affectionate and clumsy toddler is a very important step in our desensitization training for the kittens! Getting them used to rough attempts at pets and grabby fingers while still very young helps get them used to children.

Mini schnauzer and maine coon kitten

Sir Bruce, our Mini Schnauzer, knows how to be gentle while the kittens are still young, and ramps up his energy and playfulness as they get older and less fragile. Getting them used to his enthusiastic licks, energetic bounding around, and play cues is important to desensitize the kittens to dogs and familiarize them with dog behavior.

Pairings for our litters in Fall 2026!

Casanova

Our red silver King of the Cattery, Casanova is a master of the trade, and gets the job done!

Freya

Big, beautiful, and super affectionate with any kitten within reach, Freya is ready for her next litter! Her coloring allows for a wide range of kitten colors, so it’s so exciting to imagine what color kittens she’ll give us this time around!

Freya’s Sire was a whopping 22lbs, so we’re hoping for big kittens from her litters! She’s a large Queen herself, and still has more growing to do. With her silky coat, elegant long legs and striking features, we’re looking forward to seeing her kittens. She’ll be making her debut as a Queen this year, and we’re excited to see how she does.

Freya is very active, and loves the outdoor catio! She jumps to and fro on the raised platforms, and climbs up and down the ladder in record time. She goes crazy for her daily wet food, and if you give her a treat, she’ll pester you for more until you give in. She always has to be the first to see something new, and slipped easily into a leadership role among the other two Queens.

Zena

Our Polydactyl Queen is getting ready for her next litter, and we’re so excited to see if some of her kittens have extra toes!

Like Freya, Zena doesn’t play about her wet food! She’s sweet, charming, with a playful, kitten-like personality. She starts purring and meowing hello every time you walk into the room, and trots over for well-deserved pets and affection. She experienced her first snow in the outdoor catio this past winter, and was a huge fan! She spent a good amount of time frolicking and grooming the snowflakes off her fur.

Polydactyl Maine Coons are a rare treat, and we’re so excited to have Zena be a part of our family. She is well-loved, and is living her absolute best life!

How Do Maine Coons Change As They Grow?

Maine Coon Kittens are all born with beautiful blue eyes! As they wean and start to grow, their eyes will change, and begin to turn into whatever permanent color they will have. When you have parents with two differently colored eyes, it’s always fun to guess what color eyes their kittens will have.

The colors and patterns in their fur will deepen and become more pronounced and unique, and their fur will grow thicker, more luxurious and silky, leaving behind the wispy, cottony fur they had as kittens. Their unique personalities will begin to shine through and set them apart from their peers. Maine Coons have very distinctive and individual personalities that really set them apart from other cats. Some are sassy, with their main expression being one of disdainful judgement over your every action, and others are bright and cheerful, always happy to see you, talking your ear off about anything and everything in their cute little chirps and meows.

As they start to enter adulthood, their mane will begin to grow in! Some notice their Maine Coon’s mane to be more pronounced in winter, and less pronounced in summer. Others notice that their Queens lose their manes after having kittens. Some cats have a less pronounced mane, and others have a very strong, fluffy mane. Every cat is unique, and will often change as they grow. Maine Coons don’t reach their full size until they’re at least three years old, which leaves plenty of times for changes in their appearance and personality!

Below is Ivy Rain, showing how she changed from a kitten with blue eyes and wispy fur, to her teenage looks with copper eyes and thicker fur.
